We’ve started a new blog with book recommendations. The purpose of this blog is to comment on Bible verses and topics, in a simple and straight forward way, in line with the historic Protestant Reformation understanding of the Bible. As with sermons, every blog post will neither be "The Greatest Blog Ever" or perfect for every person. My hope is that they will be consistently good, and beneficial to most people, most of the time.

The purpose of this web site is to describe the work the Lord has given us among the people of the Angave river valley of Papua New Guinea, and also to challenge those who visit this site to consider the missionary task for themselves.

We strive to give accurate information about the Lord's work here, trusting the Lord to prompt His people to pray with us regarding the gospel's success, and at the same time we press the command of Christ to individuals and churches to preach where Christ has not yet been named, for the fields are ripe unto harvest, but the laborers few.

The aim of our mission work in Papua New Guinea (PNG) is to preach the Gospel message to unevangelized people groups and villages and then plant local churches among them. 
Central to New Testament missions is the public preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, which is why Paul asked for boldness to preach the Gospel message when he carried out his mission work among the unevangelized. We are in PNG to preach the Gospel where it has not yet been proclaimed.

As of today there are still PNG people groups, and villages within those people groups, that have never had a Gospel preacher come to them; and if they do not have the Gospel preached to them, then they can’t believe the Gospel and be saved from their sin (Romans 10). If sinners are to be saved, the Gospel must be preached to them, and if the Gospel is to be preached to them, then someone must go preach to them. That is the task which God has called us to do in PNG; it is the commission Jesus has given to His churches.

Our aim and goal is to discover and then target such unevangelized peoples within PNG, preach the Gospel to them and then plant local churches among them.
